I’m Roz, Founder of More From My Career.

When I decided to make a career change, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do next. The only thing I felt certain about was that I needed to pursue a path that meant something to me. To help inform my decision, I wanted access to career change information, along with support from people who had experience in this area to guide me in the right direction.

Since I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I started work to plug that gap.

After two years I had compiled a catalogue of resources specifically aimed at people wanting to make a career change, including podcasts, books, events and courses. I felt compelled to share this knowledge, so that no-one else spent two years doing the same research before feeling informed or confident enough to make a change. Those tools are housed here in one place so that you can focus on what’s important: taking control of your career and moving from where you are now to where you want to go (even if you don’t know where that is yet).

I also re-trained to become a Coach, helping me live one of my core values: being useful to others. I’ve specialised in career coaching because I’m inspired to use my own experience to help others move into a career that lights them up. I’ve gone through the emotional battle that comes with making a career change; navigating frustration, confusion, anxiety and loneliness. It wasn’t easy, but I made it through to the other side and these days I’m optimistic in my career future, excited about what I do, and believe my work has value.

If you relate to my experience and are looking for professional, personable and non-judgemental support, I’m here to help. I offer a different approach by combining my coaching skills with the knowledge I’ve gained from two years’ worth of research from career change books I’ve read, podcasts I’ve listened to, communities I’m a part of and events I’ve attended. Find out more about my coaching offering here.

The full version of my career change story lives in the blog and if you’d like to get in touch, send a message through the Contact page – I’d love to hear from you.

If you believe you deserve more from your career, welcome to More From My Career. You’re in the right place.
